Hello
Welcome to my personal website!
I am Changhan He, a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine, working with Dr. Qing Nie.
I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Arizona State University in 2021, under the supervision of Dr. Yang Kuang, and received my B.S. at the University of Science and Technology of China.
In Fall 2025, I will join the Department of Mathematics at the University of South Carolina as a tenure-track Assistant Professor.
Research Interests
My research focuses on uncovering the fundamental principles of cellular organization and communication through the lens of mathematical modeling and computational analysis, which includes:
-
Inference of cell-cell communication and cell fate dynamics using single-cell data and machine learning methods.
-
Spatio-temporal modeling of the circuit-driven pattern formation.
-
Data-driven predictive modeling in oncology (tumor growth, heterogeneity, and treatment response).
